The original marching practice stick! Designed by Xymox in 1998 (prior to our later collaborations with Vic Firth and Promark for their own versions), the basic concept was to apply our drum pad rubber directly to the bead of the stick. Our newest 2025 model Xymox Deadbeats are designed to be your go anywhere, drum on anything practice-play tool. With a thick layer of gum rubber surrounding the entire bead of the drumstick, feel comfortable playing on any surface, including furniture, knowing you will not damage it!
